The Oris Aquis Date Black Dial Watch is an impressive and well-made timepiece that will look perfect on your wrist, regardless of the occasion. Calling it a timeless accessory may sound like a cliche. Nevertheless, it strives to enhance your personality and speaks volumes about your luxurious taste when it comes to stainless steel watches.

Why Buy This Product?

The moment I saw the black dial on the watch, I knew it would only attract the right kind of attention. Honestly, it’s not so much about the dial, but the detailing that has me awed because each element works to elevate the fashionable appearance of the watch.

I really liked the unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel and the polished stainless steel case and bracelet. Obviously, it’s not the first stainless steel watch that has caught my fancy, but what makes it stand out is the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal dial window.

Ordinary watches usually feature a dial window made of acrylic or mineral crystal, which is much cheaper and prone to scrapes and scratches. But Oris does not skimp on quality and offers premium-grade sapphire crystal for men on the move.

Other than that, the luminescent hands and hour markers add a snazzy touch to the overall get-up while the date feature combines utility with style. The fact that it’s water-resistant really came as a surprise, since most bracelet-type watches in this price range don’t have such properties. All in all, I recommend adding this to your collection as it’s truly worth all the hype.

What Could’ve Been Better?

Like most other stainless steel watches, this too comes with a deployment buckle clasp. Although that itself is not an issue, I would have liked it better if the clasp functioned more smoothly and required lesser effort to snap into place.

The Oris Divers Heritage Sixty-Five Automatic Men’s Watch is one of the coolest looking watches you’ll find online in this price range. It’s a great day-wear piece, especially if you’re hunting for a statement watch to pair with casual clothing.

Why Buy This Product?

I’ve never really liked watches with a rubber band, but this piece has completely changed my perception towards them. The dial, complete with the patterned black band, exudes class and looks dapper when worn with the right outfit.

First off, I loved the silver-tone stainless steel case, adorned with the black DLC top ring bezel. So, if you’d rather want people to notice than point out your new watch, then this timepiece will be the perfect ally.

Quality-wise it has my approval as the watch features heat and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal dial window. However, what piqued my interest is the Arabic numerals that mark the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock positions. In any other watch, it may have looked gaudy and out of place, but here it goes with the ultra-modern appearance perfectly.

Like the previous item, this watch also has luminescent hands and markers along with a date display at the 6 o’clock position. And frankly, even though it has a sports-style look, the presence of a date display or luminescent elements does not dial down the zing.

What Could’ve Been Better?

I love how comfortable this watch is on my wrist, even with the rubber band, which has won my favor. However, I couldn’t help but notice that the domed crystal dial window adds to the watch’s thickness. It may not be a flaw per se, but I personally prefer a sleek design.

And now you know all about my two current favorites. So if you’re someone who prioritizes quality over quantity, I suggest getting either or both of these contemporary timepieces. Obviously, they are not the latest offering on the market, nor do they have AI-enabled features, but why jump on the bandwagon when you can sport a timeless look and become a trendsetter yourself? So, just go with your gut and pair any of the two Oris watches with your favorite outfit and you’re all set.
